Tantsu – A Yoga of the Heart

Tantsu is a unique form of bodywork on land, on a floor mat in loose clothing to allow for proper space, stretches and movement.
It is a practice in which we share our joy with others through whole body holding.

After our first two and very magical weekends with Tantsu here in Cornwall I am delighted welcoming Ateeka - who is based in Italy -

back to Cornwall to offer another workshop to dive deeper into Tantsu after which you will be able to share this beautiful

gift with others and /or incorporate in your existing bodywork.

experience new ways of communicating without words,

explore ways of deepening your relationships in a save and nurturing environment,

allow the flow of breath and unconditional touch take you beyond self imposed limitations,

THIS CLASS IS OPEN TO THOSE WITH BASIC TANTSU EXPERIENCE
It is a practice in Deepening and Enjoying Fully the practice of Tantsu . . . you can participate as a single or come with a trusted friend or partner.

It is a gentle, safe and respectful environment for all to learn to communicate through touch and to learn to relax deeply into the heart of being.

Zen Tantsu- Integrating the Tradition (32 hours)
Prerequisite: none
Learn to integrate into a Tantsu session traditional Zen Shiatsu's leans into the back with hands and elbow in the face down position.

Learn to find and hold points with your own center, and the other principles of Zen Shiatsu, and how they can be applied in

Tantsu's Leg Cradle and other holds that can precede the Core Cradles. Work on the Hara. Two modules, the first focusing

on Zen Shiatsu, the second on Tantsu.

- tools to enhance your already existing bodywork.

what to bring:       wear loose comfortable clothes,

                               (but don't worry, even a closed heart with gently uncurl over this beautiful weekend)

About Ateeka

With over 20 years of extensive background in traditional yoga studies and practice, Ateeka has arrived at a way of sharing yoga that is immediate

and fluid and experiential. Her teachings reflect and encourage only the innate intelligence of the bio-system Ateeka continues to explore the bridge

between traditional yoga studies and modern somatic approaches.

She is a Registered Yoga Teacher, member of the International Yoga Therapists Association and founding director of an internationally recognized

Yoga Teacher Training program. Her background includes extensive practice and teacher training in Ashtanga, Iyengar, Integral and Kundalini Yoga

and Continuum Movement.

She has produced a best-selling Yoga instructional video “Yoga With Ateeka” which is has been translated and distributed in English, Mandarin Chinese,

Italian and Spanish. She has also produced 5 instructional audio CD’s available in “Divine Yoga Flow”, “Moon Cycle Yoga” and “Bliss”.
